Minister of Foreign Affairs holds a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine

On 6 November 2025, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone conversation with H.E. Mr. Andrii Sybiha, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. The Foreign Minister of Ukraine congratulated Foreign Minister Sihasak for his assumption of duty.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation, as well as cooperation within the ASEAN framework, particularly in preparation for the forthcoming 4th Political Consultations between Thailand and Ukraine, which will be held in Bangkok. The Thai Foreign Minister expressed concern over the situation in Ukraine and reiterated Thailand’s principled position in support of the peaceful resolution to the conflict through constructive dialogue and diplomacy. He also reaffirmed Thailand’s readiness to contribute to humanitarian assistance and post-conflict reconstruction efforts in Ukraine.

This telephone conversation underscored the cordial relations between Thailand and Ukraine and provided an opportunity to further advance cooperation between the two countries.
