  • Thailand expresses deepest concern at the escalation of violence and worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza that gravely affect the civilian population.

  • Thailand calls on all parties to the conflict to immediately cease all acts of hostilities, protect civilians and civilian infrastructure, and comply with international humanitarian law and respect for the protected status of hospitals.

  • Thailand calls for the immediate and unconditional release of all civilian hostages, including Thai nationals, demanding their safety and humane treatment, as well as ensuring immediate humanitarian access.

  • We call for the swift establishment of a humanitarian corridor to facilitate the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian assistance, including ongoing efforts by international parties and the United Nations humanitarian agencies.

  • In this regard, Thailand welcomes the recent adoption of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC)’s Resolution 2712 (2023) calling for urgent and extended humanitarian pauses and corridors in Gaza for a sufficient number of days; the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages; and all parties to refrain from depriving the civilian population in Gaza of basic services and aid. We also encourage the UNSC to take a further active role in preventing a wider humanitarian disaster.

  • Thailand supports a peaceful resolution to the conflict with a view to realising the two-State solution in accordance with international law and the relevant United Nations resolutions.
