4th Meeting of Working Group on Technical Cooperation between TICA and APCI

On 27 November 2020, Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) and Mr. José Antonio Gonzalez Norris, Executive Director of the Peruvian Agency for International Cooperation (APCI) led the 4th Meeting of Working Group on Technical Cooperation between APCI and TICA. The meeting was also attended by His Excellency Mr. Fernando Quiros, Ambassador of Peru to Thailand, and His Excellency Mr. Sorayuth Chasombat, Ambassador of Thailand to Peru, together with relevant implementing agencies from both sides.

At the meeting, both sides approved the new Development Cooperation Programme for 2021-2023 which covers development projects in various sectors of mutual interest where experiences and lessons from both sides can be learned and shared. The sectors include 1. Agriculture and alternative development, 2. Community-based tourism, 3. Gastronomy Tourism, 4. Science and Technology: Satellite Data, 5. Public health and 6. Human resource development. Under the Memorandum of Understanding on Technical Cooperation signed between TICA and APCI in 2006, both sides will take turn to host the Meeting of the Working Group. The next Working Group on Technical Cooperation between TICA and APCI will be hosted by the Thai side.
