On March 17, 2025, H.E. Mr. Russ Jalichandra, the Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, along with representatives from relevant agencies, including Mr. Paisan Rupanichkij, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), representative from the Department of International Organizations, the Ministry of the Interior, and the Ministry of Public Health, visited Kanchanaburi Province, co - chaired a meeting with H.E. Mr. Athisarn Intra, the Governor of Kanchanaburi.

The meeting focused on exchanging information and strategies to promote development cooperation and address public health challenges along the Thai-Myanmar border, particularly to prevent the spread of infectious and re-emerging illnesses. Additionally, the delegation also paid a study visit to Phaholpolpayuhasena Hospital, Sangkhlaburi Hospital and Ban Don Yang Temporary Shelter.
