Following the Announcement of the Bureau of the Royal Household dated 24 October 2025 on the Passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, on 28 October 2025, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Japan, led officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand, along with their spouses, in paying tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. During the ceremony, participants observed a minute of silence in remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother and signed the book of condolences, expressing their profound gratitude for Her Majesty’s boundless benevolence.

The Royal Thai Embassy, Tokyo, has opened the book of condolences for the public to sign starting from 27 October 2025, between 09:30 – 12:00 hrs. and 13:30 – 17:00 hrs. until otherwise.
