Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs meets with the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Thailand

On 22 December, 2025, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, held a farewell meeting with H.E. Mr. Wilhelm Maximilian Donko, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Thailand, on the occasion of the completion of his tenure.

The Thai side expressed appreciation for Ambassador Donko’s role and dedicated efforts in promoting bilateral relations and cooperation between Thailand and Austria, particularly the successful convening of the 1st Thailand - Austria Political Consultations, to be hosted by the Thai side. Both sides exchanged views on ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation in trade and investment, vocational education, consular affairs, as well as cooperation in multilateral fora. Ambassadors from Asian countries in Bangkok and high-level representatives from various Thai agencies also attended a working lunch following the meeting.
