On 13 February 2024, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, met with H.E. Mr. Antonio Guterres, United Nations Secretary-General (UNSG), at United Nations Headquarters in New York, to discuss global and regional situations, including Myanmar.

Vice Minister also expressed Thailand’s support for the process leading up to the Summit of the Future, which was initiated by UNSG. The Summit of the Future will be held later in September this year.
