On 9 July 2025, H.E. Mrs. Lalivan Karnchanachari, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, attended the reception commemorating the 209th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the Argentine Republic and delivered congratulatory remarks, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to the Government and people of Argentina.

This year marks a meaningful milestone as Thailand and Argentina celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations. On this occasion, the Vice Minister reaffirmed Thailand’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties in all dimensions and expressed appreciation to the Argentine side for hosting the upcoming 6th Meetings of the Thailand–Argentina Political Consultations and Bilateral Economic Consultation (PC/BEC) in September. Serving as a key mechanism, these meetings will continue to play an important role in driving forward cooperation in across all areas such as trade and investment, agriculture, science and technology, technical cooperation, as well as people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.
