On 18 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, attended a reception commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Thailand - Viet Nam diplomatic relations and the 81st anniversary of Viet Nam’s national day.

The Vice Foreign Minister delivered congratulatory remarks on these significant occasions, underscoring the close relations between Thailand and Viet Nam as Comprehensive Strategic Partners, as reflected in the regular exchange of high-level visits. He also reaffirmed Thailand’s commitment to further deepening cooperation between the two countries at both the bilateral and regional levels.
