On 7 March 2024, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, had a bilateral meeting with H.E. Mr. Kreshnik Ahmeti, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kosovo, on his visit to Thailand during 6-8 March 2024.

Both sides were pleased with the cordial ties between Thailand and Kosovo that have continued to progress throughout the 11 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2013. Furthermore, they discussed ways to promote cooperation in various areas, such as digital diplomacy, economic, social, culture, and tourism, as well as people-to-people connections. The meeting also covered key regional and global issues.
