On 24 August 2026, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, chaired the 2nd Meeting of the Working Group on Thailand’s implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development within the United Nations framework. The meeting was attended by representatives from more than 25 relevant Thai government agencies.

The Working Group was briefed on the progress in developing the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) between the Royal Thai Government and the United Nations for 2027–2031. It also considered recommendations from the report of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs on advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and exchanged views on Thailand’s preparations for sustainable development on the international agenda beyond 2030.
