On 8 August 2019, ASEAN Committee in Kuwait (ACK) organised an event to celebrate the 52nd anniversary of ASEAN at the Embassy of Malaysia in Kuwait with the participation of about 80 guests. The event was honoured by Mr. Abdul Razzaq Al Khalifa, Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister, Ambassadors of China, Japan, Australia and India.

           The event started from the ASEAN Flag hoisting ceremony and followed by speech of Ambassador Dusit Manapan of Thailand, the current ACK Chair, Thai blessing dance, exhibition of cultural and tourism materials and reception.

           The ACK is composed of ambassadors of nine ASEAN countries which have  diplomatic mission in Kuwait, namely, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
