On 4 November 2019, H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha (Ret.), Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, chaired the 14th East Asia Summit (EAS) during the 35th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits. The Meeting noted the progress according to the Manila Plan of Action to Advance the Phnom Penh Declaration on EAS Development Initiative (2018 - 2022) and exchanged views on regional and international issues. In addition, the Meeting adopted three documents on combatting illicit drugs and transnational crimes, and forging partnerships for sustainability.
