On 28 October 2019, H.E. Ms. Donica Pottie, Ambassador of Canada to Thailand, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, to bid farewell at the end of her tenure. Both sides were encouraged by the dynamic bilateral and increased multi-faceted cooperation, bilaterally and regionally, in particular the increase in investment of Canadian companies in Thailand. They also exchanged views on how to further deepen the existing cooperation, including through ASEAN – Canada dialogue relations. The Foreign Minister expressed his deep appreciation for the Ambassador of Canada’s active role in enhancing relations between the two countries.

 

On this occasion, on behalf of the Foreign Minister, H.E. Mr. Jesda Katavetin, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, hosted a farewell luncheon in honour of the Ambassador of Canada.
