Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs attends the 50th Anniversary Ceremony of the Liberation of South Viet Nam and National Reunification

On 29-30 April 2025, H.E. Dr. Lalivan Kanchanachari, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, represented the Minister of Foreign Affairs at the ceremony commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of South Viet Nam and National Reunification in Ho Chi Minh City, Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.

The Vice Minister held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam, to extend heartfelt congratulations from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Royal Thai Government, and the people of Thailand to the Government and people of Viet Nam on this historic milestone. Both sides also discussed preparations for the upcoming official visit to Viet Nam by the Prime Minister of Thailand and the 4th Joint Cabinet Retreat (JCR), as well as exchanged views on bilateral and international issues of mutual interest.

In addition, the Vice Minister discussed with representatives of Thai businesses in Viet Nam to discuss economic cooperation and explore new opportunities for trade and investment between Thailand and Viet Nam.
