During 2-4 July 2010, Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya attended the High-Level Democracy Meeting, which marked the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Community of Democracies, in Krakow, Republic of Poland. The Community of Democracies is an intergovernmental organization of democracies and democratizing countries with a commitment to strengthening and deepening democratic norms and institutions around the world. It was initiated by Former Polish Foreign Minister Professor Bronislaw Geremek and Former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.
