On 19 August 2010, at the Foreign Ministry, Mr. Kasit Piromya, Minister of Foreign Affairs, delivered a keynote address at the workshop on Thailands Local Administration: Meeting Global Challenges. Co-hosted by the Foreign Ministry and the Grassroots Development Foundation of Thailand, the workshop aimed at promoting a better understanding on good governance at the international level to the officials of the Local Administrative Organizations and municipalities, and leaders of the communities.
