Ambassador of Thailand to Vietnam presented a donation to the Centre for Tending the Old and Disabled Children, Hanoi

On 22 January 2013, H.E. Mr. Anuson Chinvanno, Ambassador of Thailand, together with the Embassy’s staff and members of Team Thailand, visited the Centre for Tending the Old and Disabled Children in Ba Vi, Hanoi, and presented a donation of  VND 200 million (USD 9,600), which was raised by the Thai Community in Hanoi and neighbouring provinces from activities during Thailand Day 2012, a cultural event organized by the Royal Thai Embassy and the Thai Community on 8 December 2012, to support the Centre’s activities. The Centre for Tending the Old and Disabled Children in Ba Vi, Hanoi, is a public organization under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam that takes care of old people and abandoned children with mental or physical disabilities. It currently houses 320 old people and disabled children from Hanoi and its vicinity.
