On 12 February 2013 H.E. Mr. Somchai Charanasomboon, Ambassador of Thailand to Sweden, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Carl Bildt, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden, at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden.

     During the meeting, the Thai Ambassador and the Swedish Foreign Minister discussed bilateral issues in the fields of politics, economics, social and culture, as well as cooperation between Thailand and Sweden particularly on trade and investment, industrial cooperation, defence cooperation, tourism, and people-to-people relations.  They also exchanged views on the current developments in the European and Asian regions. Both welcomed the continuous excellent relations existing between Thailand and Sweden.
