On 19 February 2013, Mr. Thosaporn Moonlasartsathorn, Consul-General of Thailand to Dubai, was granted an audience with H.H Shiekh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, on the occasion of assuming his new position in Dubai.

H.H Shiekh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi and Consul-General discussed the opportunities to collaborate in various fields ranging from trade and investments, tourism, logistic and infrastructure.  Both parties expressed satisfaction to the positive relations between Thailand and the UAE and are keen to further explore and promote potential development between Thailand and Fujairah.
