On Sunday 17 February 2013, Mr. Chakri Srichawana, Consul-General, gave an opening remark at the “New Year 2013 Charity” at Argyle Street, Kowloon City which organised by Thai Women Association in Hong Kong to raise funds to help people living or affected by HIV/AIDS at Wat Phra Bat Nam Phu in Lopburi. Mr. Steven D. Tait, Superintendent of Police of Kowloon City Division of Hong Kong Police Force also joined the opening ceremony. Activities are comprised of (1) Merit making to monks in the morning session (2) HIV/AIDS information booth (3) Cultural performances (4) Thai food stalls and Demonstration Booths from Thai Associations and Communities (5) Singing Contest. Around 300 participants attended to this event.
