On 28 March 2013 H.E. Mrs. Kanthong Unakul, Ambassador of Thailand to Nepal, on behalf of the Royal Thai Government, presented financial aid of NPR 285,144 to Dr. Siddhartha Ranjit, Chairman of Youth Eye Service (YES) and NPR 165,383.52 to Mr. Bishnu Gopal, Chairman of Nepal – Thailand Friendship Association (NTFA).
         

This financial aid will be used for free cataract operation and eye check up by YES to improve the quality of life for vulnerable and deprived people all over Nepal from the painful suffering of blindness and to promote the people-to-people contact and activities between Thailand and Nepal through the works of NTFA.
