On 23 April 2013 H.E. Mr. Somchai Charanasomboon, Ambassador of Thailand to Sweden visited the Volvo Group Headquarters in Gothenburg. The Volvo Group was established 1927 and is a commercial vehicle manufacturer and the world’s leading diesel engine manufacturer. The Volvo Group has been established in Thailand for years and has committed in investing and doing business in Thailand, including investment in the construction of a manufacturing company, namely Thai Swedish Assembly Co., Ltd (TSA). 

     On this occasion, H.E. Ambassador Somchai was welcomed by the Volvo Group’s Executives for Public Affairs, where he was briefed on the history of the company, as well as the sales and the company’s global operations. Moreover, H.E. Ambassador Somchai visited the Volvo Museum that exhibits products from Volvo such as cars, trucks and aero products.
