On 7 May 2013, the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid, in its support of the Team Thailand activities, coordinated with the Thai Office of Commercial Affairs in Madrid and C.P. Foods, Spain, organized a Buddhist ceremony to provide blessings for the Office of Commercial Affairs. The activities included the offering of food to the monks and the sermon by Phradhammakittivong on the subject of the importance of making merit, charity and kindness towards others, as well as the similar essential teachings in every religion that human beings must coexist peacefully with one another.

The event is considered an auspicious blessing for the Thai Commercial Office in Madrid and the C.P.Foods, Spain, where all the officials, personnel and families also attended the ceremony.

At present, the Thai Commercial Office in Madrid is located on no. 29 Calle Segre, Madrid, which is also the former address of the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid before the latter moved to no. 29 Calle Joaquin Costa, Madrid. The Office in no.29 Calle Segre has never received a Buddhist blessing ceremony.
