President of the National Assembly and Speaker of the House of Representatives of Thailand paid an official visit to Myanmar during 17-20 June 2013

H.E. Mr. Somsak Kiatsuranont, President of the National Assembly and Speaker of the House of Representatives of Thailand led a delegation from the Thai Parliament to Myanmar during 17-20 June 2013. The objective of the visit is to further enhance the bilateral relations between the Parliaments of Thailand and Myanmar.
During the visit, the President of the National Assembly and the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Thailand paid courtesy calls on H.E. U Thein Sein, President of Myanmar, H.E. U Khin Aung Myint, Speaker of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw and Speaker of Amyotha Hluttaw, and H.E. Thura U Shwe Mann, Speaker of Pyithu Hluttaw, during 19-20 June 2013. The topics discussed during the calls include cooperation between the two parliaments and enhancing bilateral relations through Buddhism and investment promotion.
