On 19 June 2013, the Thai Ambassador greeted the delegation from the Standing Committee on Administrative Affairs, House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Thailand, which visited Moscow from 19-23 June 2013, at the residence. The delegation was led by Mr. Chai Chidchob, Chair of the Committee and Member of the House of Representative. The Ambassador and the Chair of the Committee exchanged views on a broad range of topics, including ways forward to further enhance people-to-people exchange and increase the number of tourists from Russia to Thailand, features and benefit of the ASEAN Community, and how to further strengthen the links between ASEAN and Russia.

The delegation later visited the Duma and met with Mr. Vladimir Pligin, Chairman of the Committee on Constitutional Legislature and State Construction of the State Duma on 20 June 2013, whereby both sides also exchanged views on the above topics and the vision derived from the discussion with the Thai Ambassador.
