On 6 September 2013, Mr. Chawalit Leelahawong, Vice President of the Court of Appeal Region 8, together with justices and officials from the Court, made a courtesy call on Mr. Marut Jitpatima, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore. The delegation also heard a briefing on Singapore’s legal and justice system by Ms. Walaya Jariyadham, First Secretary. Joining Ambassador Marut at the meeting were Mrs. Pachara Lochindarat Janes, Ms. Ponpat Thitthongkam, and Ms. Vowpailin Chovichien. Their trip to Singapore is part of the High Court’s Competency Evaluation Project.
