On 5 and 7 October 2013, the Royal Thai Embassy organized a “Thai Puppet Show,” performed by the Joe Louis Theatre in Bangkok, at the Barrie School in Maryland, one of the schools participating in the Embassy’s American-Thai Sister Schools Project, and the National Children’s Hospital in Washington, D.C. respectively. These activities were aimed at promoting Thai arts and culture.  They were also part of the activities organized to celebrate the auspicious occasion of the 180th anniversary of the Thai-U.S. relations.
