On 11 October 2013, the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Dubai, organized the first of its series of five Friday Bazaar to showcase the country's culture and social life at the Consulate-General.

     The 1st Friday Bazaar recreated the traditional Thai market place in Dubai, offered traditional Thai cuisines, sweets, decorative items, handmade jewellery, clothes and much more.  While it serves as a gathering place for both Thais and foreigners to enjoy their weekend with family and friends, the Friday Bazaar also promotes the sense of community ties and collaboration of the Thai community in Dubai and the other Emirates.

     The Friday Bazaar is first of the five market days, which will be held during winter from October 2013 - February 2014.
