On 5 November 2013, H.E. Mr. Marut Jitpatima, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, attended the Opening Ceremony of the Educational and Cultural Exchange Programme between the Chaipattana Foundation and the NorthLight School. The event was co-chaired by Dr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation from Thailand, and Mr. Martin Tan, Principal of NorthLight School, Singapore. 

     Approximately 20 high school students from schools under patronage of the Chaipattana Foundation will participate in activities at NorthLight School. Under this Exchange Programme, students will receive the opportunity to attain vocational and service skills, as well as community service at NorthLight School, as special school for those with special educational needs.
