On 5 December 2013, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Mumbai hosted a dinner reception in Mumbai to celebrate the 86^th Birthday Anniversary of H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand.  Mr. Sumit Mullick, Additional Chief Secretary and Chief Protocol Officer, was the chief guest.   Members of Consular Corps in Mumbai, distinguished guests from Indian private sectors and media and Thai people in Maharashtra joined the celebration.

     The Consul-General of Thailand in Mumbai, delivered his speech underlining His Majesty’s determination and devotion to working towards better living conditions of His Majesty’s subjects and the sustainable development and prosperity of the country. He also highlighted cordial relations between Thailand and India based on shared cultural background.

     Mr. Mullick, as the chief guest, congratulated H.M. the King on this auspicious occasion and emphasised healthy relations between the two countries as well as cultural affiliation and the positive impression of Thailand Indians have.
