On 2-4 March 2014, Ambassador Vijavat Isarabhakdi visited the State of Florida to deliver a speech at the 24th Asian Cultural Festival in Homestead, Miami. At the event, Congressman Joe Garcia welcomed the Ambassador to his district and both visited Thai booths such as Thai Trade Center Miami, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Wat Buddharangsi, Singha Beer, Thai food stalls and Thai handicraft stalls.

During the visit, the Ambassador also visited Thai businesses in the areas as well as met with Mr. Carlos A. Gimemez, Mayor of Miami Dade County, and Mr. Tomas Pedro Regalado, Mayor of the City of Miami. The Ambassador also exchanged views with the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce on trade and investment relations.
