In the evening of 28 February 2014, Consul-General Jackrid Kanjanasoon, Narathiwat Deputy Governor Sitthichai Sakda and Mr. Boontham Munikarn, Assistant to Secretary General of the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Centre (SBPAC), together with YB Haji Zulkifli bin Mamat, Deputy Committee Chairman of Industry, Trade and Social Unity and Mr. Azran Deraman, Ministry of International Trade and Industry’s Kelantan Regional Office Director, presided over the opening ceremony of “Thai Festival 2014” in Kelantan, which will be held during 27 February – 6 March 2014 at Dataran Muhammadi, Kota Bharu.  

Over 100 exhibitors are participating at this year’s event and in addition to the variety of food, clothing, jewelry and accessories being offered at Thai Festival, this year’s event is also introducing traditional Thai massage, which has been well-received by Malaysians.
