The Thai Food and Cultural Festival was held on 24 -27 April  in São Paulo. Its debut had a very positive response from business people, Brazilian food lovers as well as media.

 

The event was organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Brazil in cooperation with Turkish Airlines, Bali Express (which imports furniture and home decorative items from Thailand), and  Tivoli São Paulo Mofarrej Hotel, where it took place.

 

The Thai Food and Cultural Festival was carried out with an aim to introduce and promote Thai cuisine among Brazilians through the event itself and through Thai food restaurants and groceries in São Paulo.

 

The Thai Food Festival in São Paulo was well attended by 500 celebrities and guests. On the opening night, 24 April 2014, Mr. Thawatchai Arunyik, Governor of Tourism Authority of Thailand and his delegation also participated in the event as Guests of honour.
