The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Embassy of Israel, Thailand Post Company Limited and Bangkok Symphony Orchestra (BSO) will jointly organise activities to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and Israel on 5 June 2014 at the Thailand Cultural Center, Bangkok.

The main highlights of the activities comprise the launch of the joint commemorative stamps, followed by the “Thailand - Israel: Gift of Music Concert” by the BSO. The concert will be conducted by Mr. Shalev-Ad El (Israel) and performed by Ms. Keren Hadar (Soprano – Israel), Mr. Amir Gwirtzman (multi-instrumentalist – Israel) and Mr. Kittinun Shinsamran (Bass Baritone – Thailand), finalist of the famous television show, The Voice Thailand Season 2.

These series of activities marks the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Thai – Israeli diplomatic ties. On this special occasion, the Thailand Post Company Limited and the Israel Postal Company issue joint commemorative stamps depicting Thai mangosteen and Israeli pomegranate together, representing the existing close and comprehensive relations between the two countries for the past six decades that will continue to flourish in the years ahead. The stamps will be available to the public for sale on 5 June 2014.
