On 21 May 2014, Mr. VijavatIsarabhakdi, Ambassador of Thailand to the United States of America, hosted a reception in honor of Dr. Jim Yong Kim, formerDirector of the World Health Organization’s HIV/AIDS Department and current President of the World Bank Group, and Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, National Institute of Health, who are U.S.-based laureates of the 2013 PrinceMahidol Award at the Royal Thai Embassy. Several invited guests from the circles of medicine and public health as well as high-level officials and Thai nationals working at the World Bank Group and the International Fund attended the event.
