On 17 July 2014, Mr. Somkid Wannalukkhee, President of Charoen Pokphand Pakistan (PVT.) Limited paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Tomwit Jarnson, Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan. On this occasion, Mr. Somkid informed the Ambassador of the company’s performance including the challenges and obstacles. The company started operating the animal feed and poultry breeding farm business since 2013 in Lahore, Pakistan, in view of the vast potentials of the agro-food industry in Pakistan. So far, the company has been growing and has the plan to expand its operation in the near future.
