Ambassador of Thailand to Australia attended the 2nd Thai Kitchen to the World in Hobart

             On the 6 August 2014, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Ambassador of Thailand, Mr. Abhirat Achalabun, Honorary Consul-general for Thailand in Tasmania, and Ms. Venus Asawapoom, Second Secretary, attended the 2nd Thai Kitchen to the World in Hobart, hosted by Guilford Young College, Suan Dusit Rajabhat University and Honorary Consulate-General in Hobart, during the 29 July to 6  August 2014, in Hobart, Tasmania. It aimed to publicise Thailand as the World Kitchen. The Ambassador, together with Mr. Jeremy Rockliff, Deputy Premier and Mrs. Bobby Court, Principal of Guilford Young College, chaired the event that was attended by Tasmania’s honourable guests, politicians, honorary consuls from different countries for approximately 100 people. This event was supported by Australia-Thailand Institute (ATI), Thai Airways International Public Company Limited, Tangola (Melbourne) Co.,Ltd., Tourism Authority of Thailand, Thai Trade Centre in Sydney, and Royal Thai Embassy at Canberra.
