Beauty of Thailand through the lens for our Czech friends –The Royal Thai Embassy in Prague proudly presents a photo exhibition ‘Exotic Touch of Thailand’ in Prague.  The photo exhibition is held at the Lucerna Palace from 19 August to 1 September 2014, aiming at offering a wider perspective of Thailand in the field of tourist attraction, culture and lifestyle. The photos on show were chosen from the works of Tourism Authority of Thailand, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), Mr. Pepa Streda, a Czech professional photographer and Mr. Robert Schrader, an American writer, photographer, and world famous travel blogger.  Their works contribute to a great combination of photos to showcase Thailand in various viewpoints through the lens. Moreover, the photos from TCEB are also the winners and finalists in a photographic contest called ‘Inspiring Thailand’, which was organized in Thailand.

     On the evening of 19 August 2014, H.E. Mr. Vitavas Srivihok, Ambassador of Thailand to the Czech Republic, also hosted a reception at the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition which was joined by a great number of Czech and foreign guests, including Mr. Vladimir Bartl, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. Milan Hovorka, Advisor to the Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. Ivan Jancalek, Direcor-General of Non-European Countries Section, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassadors and diplomatic corp, friends of Thailand and artists.  Furthermore, authentic Thai cuisine was served cordially at the evening, along with the classical music and songs, composed by H.M. King Bhumibol of Thailand, played by a live band, to jointly promote the exotic sense of Thailand in the Czech Republic.
