On 17 September 2014, Ms. Ekajit Kraivichien, Deputy Chief of Mission and Minister, welcomed the delegationfrom the Election Commission, led by Mr. Dhirawat Dhirarojvit, the Election Commissioner, as well as a representative from the Overseas Election Coordination Centre, Department of Consular Affairs. The delegation visited the Royal Thai Embassy, Singapore, to be briefed on and discuss the Embassy’s experience in organising overseas elections, in order to better understand obstacles, and best practices for future management of overseas elections. In this regard, Ms. Pachara Lochindaratana Janes, First Secretary, gave a presentation on this issue.
