On September 12, 2014, H.E. Dr. Itti Ditbanjong, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Russian Federation hosted dinner in honour of Dr. Pussadee Tamthai, Deputy Governor of Bangkok and the delegation of 33 persons at the Residence.
The Thai Ambassador appreciated the support rendered by Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in organizing a troupe of Thai classical performance, as well as the demonstration of Thai traditional dessert and fruits crafting at the first Thai Festival in Moscow 2014 at Kuznetsky Bridge Walking Street from September 13 - 14, 2014. The activity is considered a major element of the Embassy’s project of “Spotlight on Thailand in Russia 2014”.
The Thai Ambassador also reiterated the importance of the visit of the Deputy Governor of Bangkok to Moscow from September 12 - 17, 2014. Besides further strengthening the cooperation under the framework of Sisters Cities between Bangkok and Moscow, such visit would also help further enhance the closer ties with more constructive relations between Thailand and Russia as a whole.
Accordingly the visit is considered a good opportunity for the two capital cities to better concretize their cooperation through the discussion of the Joint Plan of Action from 2014 - 2016 as proposed by the Government of Moscow.
