On Wednesday 3rd December 2014, the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens hosted a reception to celebrate the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 87th Birthday Anniversary and Thai National Day at the Grande Bretagne Hotel, Athens. Over 200 distinguished guests including high representatives from the Office of the President of the Hellenic Republic, Parliament, Government authorities, Ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps, private sector and local media attended this event. On this occasion, the Embassy displayed an exhibition on His Majesty’s Royal Activities as well as information about Thailand. Variety of popular and favourite Thai dishes was also served to the guests.
