On 18 February 2015, Consul-General Jackrid Kanjanasoon, was invited to the opening ceremony of Sungai-Golok’s Chinese New Year 2015, presided over by Mr. Nattapong Sirichana, the Governor of Narathiwat, at Toh Moh Goddess Shrine, Sungai-Golok. The event is organized every year to promote tourism at the border town on which many activities are demonstrated on the celebration site to reflect the unity among peoples of various cultures and religions. Thousand of Thais and Malaysians joined the events and festive activities around the Toh Moh Goddess Shrine and throughout Golok town on that day.
