On the full moon day of 4 March 2015, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Dubai and Ladies Association of Dubai and the Northern Emirates organized an activity  to mark the Makabucha Day 2015.

 

            The making merit activities such as listening to Dhamma preaching, praying, meditation, candle lighting ceremony were led by a Thai monk from Thailand. The event was attended by Mr. Thosaporn Moonlasartsathorn, Consul-General of Thailand to Dubai and the Northern Emirates and his Spouse, the Consulate staff as well as more than 40 Buddhist followers, both Thais and foreigners.
