On March 19, 2015, the Royal Thai Consulate General, Chicago and Thailand Board of Investment, New York Office, co-organized the seminar “Investment Opportunities in Thailand” at the Royal Thai Consulate General”, for members of local business community and members of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI).

 

            Mr. Songphol Sukchan, Consul General, gave a keynote address on Thailand’s overview focusing on Thailand’s advantages in economic foundation, government pro-growth policy, tourism and the location which can be beneficial to the forthcoming ASEAN Economic Community.

It was followed by the presentation on the investment opportunities and privileges of Thailand and the setting up of 5 Special Economic Zones, by Mr. Polapat Naphavaranonth, Assistant Director of BOI, New York.
