            On 29 June 2015, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a welcoming dinner on the occasion of 76 Thai-Australian youths residing in Australia and their parents under the 5th Thai-Australian youths Home Coming project visit to Thailand organized by the Royal Thai Consulate in Sydney and Thai Temple “Wat Buddharangsee”, at Vithes Samosorn ll and lll and presided over by Mr. Birabij Suwanpradhes, Ambassador Attached to the Ministry. Ms’ Patcharee Pompachati, acting Director-General of the Department of American can south Pacific Affairs, Mr. Theeratep Promvongsanon, Consul General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Sydney, Ms. Chantipa Phutrakul, Director of Young Ambassador of Virtue Foundation, Dr. Songsri Foran, Director of Thai language school in Sydney (Wat Buddharangsee) and distinguished guests around 100 people in total were also joined.
 
            Thai-Australian youths Home Coming project aimed to provide an opportunity for Thai-Australian youths, who were born and raised in Australia to visit their motherland. This visit also allowed them to learn Thai culture and etiquette through activities and site seeing as well as to raise their Thai Awareness and also make them proud to be Thai. This project was initiated by the cooperation between the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Sydney and Wat Buddharangsee since 1998 and continuously organized ever two years for two weeks. Activities of this year are the courtesy call on Thai Prime Minister, performance of Thai dance to celebrate 83th Birthday Anniversary of Queen Sirikit this year, activities with Thai schools and site seeing around Northeastern part of Thailand which are Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram and Ubon Ratcharthani Provinces.
