On 4 December 2015, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Dubai hosted the Thai Father's Day 2015 to celebrate the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 88th Birthday Anniversary for the Thai community in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.  

 

            Among  300 attendees are members of Thai community, foreigners and friends of Thailand.  The celebration includes signing well-wish book,  games for family, film screening of Yai Boon Ma, a celebrating movie in honour of His Majesty's dedication to his Thai subjects.

 

            At 18.09 hrs, H.E. Thosaporn Moonlasartsathorn, Consul-General, his Spouse and representatives from the Team Thailand in Dubai, led the candlelight  vigil and sang the Royal Anthem to cerebrate His Majesty's Birthday Anniversary.

 

            Thai Father's Day is an annual event to celebrate the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty's Birthday Anniversary and also serves as a function where the Thai community can enjoy networking and socializing  between colleagues and friends.
