On Friday 4th December 2015, the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens hosted a reception to celebrate the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 88th Birthday Anniversary and Thai National Day at the Grande Bretagne Hotel, Athens. Over 250 distinguished guests including the high representatives from the Office of the President of the Hellenic Republic, Parliament, the Government authorities, private sector and local media, Ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps attended this event. On this occasion, the Embassy displayed an exhibition on His Majesty’s Royal Activities as well as information about Thailand. Variety of popular and favourite Thai dishes was also served to the guests. 

 

            On Friday 11th December 2015, the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens hosted a reception for the Thai community in Greece to celebrate the auspicious occasion of the 88th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.  On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Joompol Manaschuang, Ambassador of Thailand to Greece, led the Thai community in a ceremony to offer prayer and blessing to His Majesty the King and singing the Royal Anthem and Sadudee Maharacha in honour of His Majesty the King.
