On the occasion of the 88^th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand, the Royal Thai Embassy offered Thai foods to women facing problem and staying at a safe house in Pretoria.

The Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria hosted the reception on the occasion of the 88th  Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand and Thailand’s National Day at the Thai Ambassador’s Residence. About 300 guests attended the reception. On this occasion, Mr. Surasak Suparat, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of Thailand and H.E. Mr.  Malusi Gigaba, Minister of Home Affairs who represented the South African Government and the President of South Africa delivered their remarks and toasted for the good health and happiness of His Majesty the King.

The Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria organized the activities to celebrate the 88th birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej at Voortrekker Monument in which 104 participants joined.
