The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Osaka presented financial support for Thai Club of Japan

On 10 December 2015, Consul-General Dusit Manapan presented the amount of 100,000 yen to Thai Club of Japan, through Mr. Yoshihisa Kaneko, Secretary General of the Club, to support its work in strengthening the bilateral relations between Thailand and Japan.
Thai Club of Japan, with Professor Emeritus Osamu Akagi of Osaka University as its president, is a network of the friends of Thailand in Japan. Thai Club of Japan has carried out activities to enhance the ties of friendship between Thailand and Japan for about 25 years. Notable activities include Thai language teaching, organizing seminars on matters related to Thailand, and educational exchanges with schools in Lampang Province of Thailand.
On 13 February 2016, Thai Club of Japan will organize a seminar titled “Charms of Thailand – the Buddhist Priest Customs in Thailand” in Osaka. The seminar will create better understanding among the Japanese public about Thailand and its culture.
